DISKAH aims to foster deeper engagement among the Arts and Humanities (A&H) research community with UK Digital Research Infrastructures (DRI), such as High-Performance Computing. The programme aims to introduce the wider field of A&H to the capabilities and opportunities afforded by computationally intensive data-driven methods and impact hundreds of A&H researchers through planned activities, training dissemination approaches and knowledge exchange events.

Within DISKAH, we are committed to delivering a wide range of activities to support the community, including:

  • Co-designing the DISKAH Fellowship programme to support researchers in leveraging DRI-enabled methods for research.
  • Providing training through a range of opportunities during the fellowship year, including workshops, a summer school, and online events.
  • Administering tailored training within DRI centres and HPC frameworks to gain key insights to large-scale data for research.
  • Promoting open research practices and robust data management practices including enabling access to open data.
  • Sharing training and support with broader A&H research communities, particularly those reached by the DISKAH fellows.
  • Organising outreach and dissemination activities to empower researchers to efficiently use DRI.

DISKAH is dedicated to fostering equality, diversity and inclusion within its activities, by identifying and overcoming A&H research related barriers.
